
La Azul is just a little winery that merges into the sky. Is our own home, warm and simple, where you can find a great landscape and elaborated premium wines. Our Little winery is located staring at Los Andes mountains and its snow, in the Uco Valley, state of Mendoza, Argentina.
It is equiped too, whith hight quality technology that helps in order to get our delicated wines. Therefore, nowadays we use and equilibrated number of barrells of French and American oak.
Having our own vineyards permits us an incredible control of the grapes quality and so on the wine one.
All this work finishes in each bottle that then will found you and will try you have a joy moment.



At the feet of Los Andes, in the middle of the land called Agua Amarga in Tupungato born in 2003, Bodega La Azul.
It has its own vineyards that counts, ones with more than fifty years of production and others just a few. Having this way, a great range of grapes of high quality and working since the vineyards till the wines in order to give the best of us.
Actually is managed by Alejandro Fadel and Gustavo Larghi and is grewing up day by day with all the people that are involved in this enterprise



Our products have strict controls that permit us to take care of each bottle. Nowadays we produce three different lines of wines. Varietals wines without oak that give the youth that characterized the winery. These are our wines Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The next line is one of the favorites of our clients because its great relationship between price and quality. We are talking of Azul Reserva, a wine that is kept in barrels for fifteen months before being sold. It’s a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec.
And at least we have our icon, the Azul Gran Reserva that with more than two years in barrels, try to be the best wine of the winery. For this wine we produced less than a thousand of bottles so it has a special care.
The visits to the Winery are personalized and of small groups. Its consists of the tasting of three of our wines through a relaxed chat with our guide that will lead you in the visit. We count, also, with a wineshop at the winery.

Grape Variety: 100% Malbec
Being purplish red, its aromas remind to red ripe fruits like plums, morello cherries and mulberries. At the mouthwe have soft and sweet tannins, of middle intensity with long end. It is a perfect wine in order to go with cheeses like Pategrás, Fontina and Provolone. As well spicy food, red meat and pasta.

Grape Variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Of colour ruby deep red and with spicies, red ripe fruits and pepper aromas. In the mouth we have ripe and complex tannins, plus a fine sharpness that gives to wine its great personality. Of middle intensity,with long end that full our mouths of flavors and invite to keep drinking. It is a perfect wine to go with cheeses like Gruyére and Parmesano. As well spicy food and specially red meat.

Aging: 15 months in oak barrels, 70% French Oak and 30% American Oak
This is a wine that surprise us beacause of its complexity and intensity. Having a very deep red hue, that can remind us to morello cherries. At the nose it is really intense with red and forest fruits and pepper, assembled with aromas of vanilla and chocolate. At the mouth, the tannins are sweet and structured, of great body, complex, with refreshing sharpness and very long end. Is is perfect to go with spicy food, old ripe cheeses, red meat and hunting meat.

Raising: 24 months in barrels 70% french oak, 30% american oak
This is a complex wine, well structured with a great intensity. Being deep red, it has delicated purplish hues. Its aromascan remind to red and black fruits assembled with pepper, spicies, vanilla and chocholate.
